There are budget constraints in our district and we are three reading intervention teachers using the SRA reading method. We have seen gains in reading with our students. Unfortunately, because we are working retirees, we will be the first to be cut from the budget. We are looking for a grant that will keep our program intact.

I am a speaker who is trying to find a way to be funded to go into elementary schools with a variety of storie of how children with special needs or kids who feel different, have touched the lives of others. Looking for the "special" in each other can change how we accept each others differences. Any suggestions?

Our school is in need of new playground equipment . We currently have over 400 second and third graders but our playground equipment (which is not much) s very old and falling apart. Looking for a playground grant to help pay for new slide, swings and upgrade basketball court. Our district has a very high percentage of welfare families so we can't get much help from the community.
